On November 10, Jiang Muchen, Director of the National Water Conservation Office of the Ministry of Water Resources, and his delegation visited Sunward Intelligent Equipment to investigate water conservation efforts in industrial enterprises.

Beside Yueming Lake in Sunward Industrial City, Jiang Muchen and his delegation listened to a report on the company's water conservation work and learned about the enterprise's water consumption, industrial water prices, and related matters. "Yueming Lake serves as a test site for waterborne equipment and also has a rainwater collection function," said He Qinghua, founder and chief expert of Sunward. He explained that since its establishment, the company has attached great importance to water conservation and consumption reduction. Yueming Lake, which combines functions such as landscaping, testing, and fire protection, achieves "multiple uses of a single water source" and effectively collects and reuses about 31,000 cubic meters of rainwater annually.

Sunward has established an energy management monitoring platform to enable informatized energy management. At the same time, the company actively explores water-saving and consumption-reducing processes, driving the transformation of water-saving results through technological upgrades. For water used in heat treatment and spot welding equipment, cooling towers are used for cooling and recirculation, while painting wastewater and fuel tank testing water are filtered and reused. Through these multiple measures, in recent years both the total water consumption of the industrial city and the water consumption per unit of product have steadily declined, with annual effective water savings of about 290,000 cubic meters and an industrial water reuse rate exceeding 60%.

Jiang Muchen affirmed the company's water conservation work, commenting that Sunward actively integrates water conservation into all aspects of base construction, manufacturing, and greening irrigation, achieving coordinated planning and overall advancement. This demonstrates the company's sense of social responsibility and sets an example for water use and conservation among industrial enterprises.
