"It's through! The Nanchuan Tunnel is through!" At 10:00 on October 29, as the last meter of loess was excavated, the workers cheered excitedly. The right line of Tunnel No. 1 of the Xining Nanchuan Project was successfully holed through, 8 days ahead of the planned schedule, marking major progress in the construction of the Xining Nanchuan Project and laying a solid foundation for the completion and opening of the entire tunnel line.

Tunnel No. 1 of the Nanchuan Project will cut through Huilong Mountain and connect the 25th Street, Planned Road No. 2, and First Avenue with the Xijiu Highway and Ninggui Expressway, shortening the connection distance between the east and west parks to 2 kilometers.

In recent years, the Nanchuan Industrial Park has been guided by the need to safeguard the development of key industries and the integration of industry and city, aiming to improve and enhance the speed, convenience, and accessibility of roads, further optimizing the functional layout of the road network, establishing and improving the road traffic system, enhancing internal and external circulation and linkage of the park, and effectively improving road carrying capacity.

It is understood that once Tunnel No. 1 of the Nanchuan Project is fully completed, it will provide safe, fast, and convenient transportation conditions for the Nanchuan Industrial Park, enabling vehicles of key enterprises and key projects in the park to enter the expressway via the shortest distance. It is of great significance for promoting industry-city integration, building a harmonious park, further enhancing the image of the park's infrastructure support, improving the allocation of industrial factors, and optimizing the layout of industrial functions.

The right line of Nanchuan Tunnel No. 1, located in the Nanchuan Industrial Park, has a total length of 1,121 meters. It is an urban secondary trunk road with a design speed of 40 km/h. Since resuming construction on August 10 this year, with the support and help of leaders at all levels from the Nanchuan Industrial Park, Xingchuan Company, the design unit, and the supervision unit, all project personnel have taken the initiative and risen to the challenges, actively resolving many difficulties such as tight funding, pipeline relocation, and insufficient personnel, quickly restoring tunnel and roadbed construction production, and with the spirit of "striving," the drive to "forge ahead," and the courage to "innovate," setting off a boom of vigorous and rapid work. Project construction has advanced rapidly and steadily, with safety and quality orderly and controllable.
