Warm congratulations on the successful convening of the 10th Congress of Wuhan Association for Science and Technology

On the morning of October 23, the opening ceremony of the 10th Congress of Wuhan Association for Science and Technology was grandly held at the Wuhan Conference Center. A total of 530 representatives of science and technology workers from across the city, divided into 13 delegations, attended the two-day meeting. Fu Jikui, a researcher in the R&D Department of Wuhan Changsheng, was elected as a representative to the 10th Congress of the Municipal Association for Science and Technology; previously, the company's General Manager Liu Chunsheng was elected as a representative to the 9th Congress of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, and Deputy General Manager Yang Lian was elected as a representative to the 9th Congress of the Municipal Association for Science and Technology.

Guo Yuanqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Cheng Yongwen, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and Hu Lishan, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, attended. Li Yilong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Political and Legal Affairs Commission, presided over the meeting. Academicians Li Deren, Gui Jianfang, Chen Xiaoping, He Lin, Xie Xianqi, Yang Chunhe, Xie Shucheng, Fu Zhengyi, and Gao Zongyu were invited to attend.

Li Deren, an academician of both the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chairman of the Wuhan Association for Science and Technology, delivered a work report on behalf of the 9th Committee of the Municipal Association for Science and Technology entitled "Striving for Success and Forging Ahead to Gather Mighty Strength for Accelerating the Building of a Science and Technology Innovation Center with National Influence," summarizing the successful experience and insights gained by the 9th Committee of the Wuhan Association for Science and Technology over the past five years and outlining a beautiful blueprint for the innovative development of the Association's undertakings in the next five years.
