In the golden autumn of Hangzhou, the air is crisp and the sunshine is warm and genial. On October 21, the 2023 20th China Rock Mechanics and Engineering Academic Annual Meeting and the 5th Zhejiang Province Geotechnical Engineering Construction and Underground Structure and Space Utilization New Technology Seminar grandly opened in Hangzhou. This academic annual meeting was hosted by the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering and the Zhejiang Society for Geotechnical Mechanics and Engineering, and organized by the Geotechnical Engineering Construction Professional Committee of the Zhejiang Society for Geotechnical Mechanics and Engineering and the Underground Structure and Space Utilization Professional Committee of the Zhejiang Society for Geotechnical Mechanics and Engineering, among others. More than 600 industry leaders, experts and scholars, entrepreneurs, and relevant guests from all over the country attended the academic seminar.
