On October 16, Liu Chengjun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC), and his delegation visited the Tianjin Segment Precasting Base of the Fangqiao Company under China Railway 14th Bureau Group for research. Wu Yankun, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of China Railway 14th Bureau Group, accompanied the research visit.

Liu Chengjun and his delegation went deep into the production site to inspect facilities including the green intelligent production line for large-diameter shield tunnel segments independently developed by the Fangqiao Company of China Railway 14th Bureau Group, the intelligent detection system for finished reinforcement cages, as well as the box culvert production line, the dispatch center, and the BIM intelligent control platform. They also visited the industrial workers' community, the smart Party building activity room, the Pioneer Reading Hall, and the Employees' e-Home to learn about segment precasting production and the working and living conditions of employees.

Liu Chengjun conducted in-depth research on standardization construction, process innovation, intelligent equipment, and other aspects of the work, and put forward specific requirements. He stated that as a professional concrete precasting enterprise, the Fangqiao Company of China Railway 14th Bureau Group must make good use of innovation as a magic weapon, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with top professional companies in the industry, give full play to its professional advantages, achieve innovative breakthroughs, and make greater contributions to the transformation and upgrading of the concrete industry.

Wu Yankun stated that the production line at the base is the fifth-generation green intelligent production line for large-diameter shield tunnel segments of China Railway 14th Bureau Group. Having undergone continuous innovative research and development, it embodies the painstaking efforts of several generations and is an important component of building a first-class large shield tunneling brand. China Railway 14th Bureau Group will further strengthen scientific and technological innovation to achieve high-quality development.

The Tianjin Segment Precasting Base is the largest high-speed railway shield tunnel segment precasting factory in China. It has built a domestically leading intelligent production line, and the country's first automatic reinforcement cage detection equipment developed and used there has achieved full-size and full-point detection. It undertakes the precasting production tasks for a total of more than 8,000 rings of segments and more than 8,000 box culverts for the No. 1 and No. 2 tunnels of Tianjin Airport on the Beijing-Binhai Railway and the Jingu Haihe River Tunnel on the Tianjin-Weifang Railway. Since production began on August 2 this year, more than 600 rings of segments have been precast.

Dai Jinghui, General Manager of the Science and Technology Innovation Department of CRCC; Gu Chuanzhi, Executive Director of the Office (Party Committee Office); Jiang Wei, Deputy General Manager of China Railway 14th Bureau Group; and heads of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Regional Headquarters, the Fangqiao Company, and other units participated in the research.
