The "Jingbin Collaboration" shield machine is the first super-large diameter shield machine to roll off the production line at the China Railway Construction Large Shield Base under China Railway 14th Bureau Group Equipment Company. The shield machine has an excavation diameter of 13.8 meters, a total length of approximately 123 meters, a total weight of 2,900 tons, and a total installed power of 6,950 kilowatts. It is one of the most advanced and intelligent shield machines currently configured for high-speed railway tunnels.

To highlight regional characteristics, the cutterhead of the shield machine features a creative design painted with the Chinese character "Jin," the abbreviation of Tianjin. With red and yellow as the base color scheme, the central vertical stroke adopts the element of the Tianjin Radio and Television Tower, while the three dots on the left side represent three high-speed trains, respectively symbolizing Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei. The high-speed trains are depicted radiating outward, symbolizing speed and also the rapid development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration.

The Tianjin Airport No. 2 Tunnel of the Section 5 project undertaken by China Railway 14th Bureau is located in Dongli District and the Airport Economic Area of Tianjin, with a total line length of 9,596 meters and a tunnel length of 8,663 meters. It is a single-tube double-track shield tunnel, of which the shield-driven section is 7,720 meters. The geological conditions at its location are complex, with great technical difficulty and high construction risk, making it a key control project for the entire line.

China Railway 14th Bureau Equipment Company is the first approved high-end equipment entity central enterprise company to settle in the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone. Its affiliated China Railway Construction Large Shield Base is the only large shield base approved by China Railway Construction and is a high-end equipment industrial base built by China Railway 14th Bureau. Since settling in the Tongzhou Bay High-end Equipment Industrial Park in 2022, it has shouldered the mission of focusing on shield equipment, mastering key shield machine technologies, and achieving full-process integrated management and control capabilities for tracking, maintenance, and management throughout the entire life cycle of shield machines.

Next, the Equipment Company will join hands with China Railway Construction Heavy Industry to rapidly integrate into industry development with high standards, lay out emerging industries around equipment manufacturing, make new contributions to assisting Nantong's economic construction, and promote the development of Jiangsu Province's manufacturing industry toward high-end, intelligent, green, and service-oriented directions.

The Beijing-Binhai Intercity Railway is a landmark project for implementing the national strategy of coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and building the "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei on Rails." The line has a total length of 97.8 kilometers and is the third high-speed railway corridor connecting Beijing and Tianjin, as well as an important component of the second channel of the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway.

After the entire line is completed, it will connect with the Beijing-Tangshan Intercity Railway, the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway, and the Tianjin-Qinhuangdao and Tianjin-Baoding High-Speed Railways, forming a one-hour traffic circle for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. This will greatly promote the integration between the two major cities of Beijing and Tianjin, achieve spatial optimization and quality improvement of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, and be of great significance for promoting Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei transportation integration and driving economic and social development along the line.
