Recently, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission officially issued the "Reply on the Preliminary Design of the New Jinhua-Yiwu Railway Lines 3 and 4 and Related Projects Introducing into the Jinhua Area (Jinhua Railway Hub Capacity Expansion and Renovation Project)".

The Jinhua Railway Hub Capacity Expansion and Renovation Project is a key project for Jinhua City to build a high-level inland open hub central city. The scope of review for this project approval includes the new Shanghai-Kunming conventional-speed line (referred to as the Shanghai-Kunming outer bypass line) and the Yiwu-Jinhua railway project (referred to as the Jinhua-Yiwu Lines 3 and 4), with a total length of 100.564 kilometers of newly built main lines and a preliminary design budget estimate of 22.148 billion yuan.

It is reported that this is another landmark achievement following the commencement of the project's advance section in July and the bidding for the Jinhua-Yiwu Station in September, and is the most critical step toward achieving full-scale construction by the end of the year.

Guided by the approval of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Jinhua City will make every effort to advance key tasks such as land acquisition and relocation, entrusted construction, and construction drawing review, ensuring the completion of established goals and investment tasks.
