On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, in order to promote exchanges, interaction, and cooperation between construction machinery manufacturers and China's overseas engineering contracting enterprises, the China Construction Machinery Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) and the Silk Road International Capacity Cooperation Promotion Center (hereinafter referred to as the Silk Road Center), building on the successful hosting of the first International Capacity Cooperation Overseas Contracting Engineering and Construction Machinery Cooperation Forum in 2019, will continue to cooperate in hosting the Second Overseas Contracting Engineering and Construction Machinery Cooperation Forum on the afternoon of September 22, the third day of BICES 2023, in Meeting Room W201 of the China International Exhibition Center (New Hall, Shunyi). Leading enterprises in Belt and Road international engineering contracting will be invited to visit the exhibition and attend the forum, to engage in dialogue and discussion with construction machinery exhibitors on common topics such as new demands for construction machinery equipment in Belt and Road and international capacity cooperation projects, new applications, and the construction of overseas support service systems.

At this forum, the Silk Road Center will leverage the fact that since 2017, in practicing the Belt and Road Initiative, it has cumulatively trained more than one thousand international capacity cooperation leading talents for top-tier enterprises engaged in international operations, of whom more than one third are middle and senior management backbones from large overseas engineering contracting and construction enterprises. It will focus on inviting representatives of leading enterprises engaged in overseas engineering project contracting and construction to visit and attend the forum, and to connect and exchange with construction machinery enterprises.

This forum will invite more than 100 representatives of leading enterprises to attend, and will invite senior executives and equipment management heads of representative large overseas engineering contracting and construction enterprises to deliver keynote speeches and participate in roundtable dialogues, establishing a matchmaking platform between overseas construction enterprises and construction machinery enterprises. The conference agenda will be announced in the near future on the BICES exhibition website and WeChat platform, so please stay tuned.
