Zhongyan Dadi Participates as Co-organizer

Academic Conference on Foundation Engineering of the Architectural Society of China

The Architectural Society of China Academic Conference on Foundation Engineering (2023) was held in Beijing from July 26 to July 28. Beijing Zhongyan Dadi Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongyan Dadi"), as a co-organizer of this conference, was represented by Chief Engineer Liu Jianguo and Co-Chief Engineer Kang Jingwen, who led the technical center team to attend the conference. The team focused on introducing Zhongyan Dadi's relevant technological innovation work and typical engineering practices in the field of reinforcement of existing buildings in recent years, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with attending experts and peers.

During the conference, Zhongyan Dadi Chief Engineer Liu Jianguo served as the host of Sub-venue 3 (the Foundation Pit and Slope Engineering Sub-venue), provided excellent comments on the presentations, and presented conference souvenirs to the presenters.

Zhongyan Dadi Co-Chief Engineer Kang Jingwen, as Vice Chairman of the Foundation Engineering Branch of the Architectural Society of China, delivered a report titled "Practice of Inclination Correction and Foundation Reinforcement for High-rise Buildings" at the High-rise Summit Dialogue special session. The report introduced practical projects for foundation reinforcement and inclination correction of various complex existing buildings, and focused on the full-process implementation of recently executed projects, including inspection, design, construction, and monitoring, as well as the many technical practices and innovations involved.

Liu Bo, Technical Director of the Zhongyan Dadi Technical Center, delivered a report titled "Application of Pre- and Post-grouting Micro Steel Pipe Piles in the Reinforcement of Existing Buildings" at the conference, focusing on the basic information of the pre- and post-grouting micro steel pipe pile process, equipment, and tests independently developed by Zhongyan Dadi, as well as the application in multiple engineering practices.

In recent years, Zhongyan Dadi has continued to deepen its work in the existing building reinforcement sector, aiming to provide clients with integrated solutions covering inspection, investigation, survey, monitoring, design, and construction. Foundation reinforcement of existing buildings is a business with high technical thresholds in geotechnical engineering. Relying on strong technical capabilities, Zhongyan Dadi has gradually formed an existing building reinforcement team through project practice, and has developed its own distinctive technical system across the entire reinforcement process and a distinctive service model for solving client problems throughout the whole process. With the joining of Kang Jingwen, an authoritative figure in the geotechnical engineering industry, Zhongyan Dadi's service capabilities in fields such as renovation of old residential communities and urban village redevelopment will be further significantly enhanced.

The biennial National Academic Conference on Foundation Engineering provides an academic exchange platform for scientific and technical personnel in the field of building foundation engineering in China. Successive academic events have been held in response to national economic development in various periods and have played a positive role in promoting scientific and technological progress in building foundation engineering and the development of the discipline.
