Following the successful convening and publicity of the BICES 2023 professional user symposiums in Shandong and Shanxi provinces, which aroused enthusiastic responses among user units in various provinces, on July 6 the China Construction Machinery Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) organized the 16th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition and Technical Exchange Conference (hereinafter referred to as BICES 2023) Hebei Transportation and Municipal System Professional User Symposium (hereinafter referred to as the User Symposium) in Shijiazhuang, Hebei. At the symposium, the latest preparations for BICES 2023 and the latest situation of the construction machinery industry were introduced to major user units in Hebei Province, and an invitation to visit BICES 2023 was extended to the attending representatives. Wang Jinxing, Deputy Secretary-General of the Association; Lü Ying, Deputy Secretary-General and General Manager of Beijing Tianshi Huagong International Exhibition Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Exhibition Company); Zhang Xinong, Secretary-General of the Road Construction and Maintenance Machinery Branch; Dong Dawei, General Manager of Hebei Bangda Road and Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd., the organizer of the User Symposium; and nearly 50 representatives of user units in the Hebei transportation and municipal system, including Hebei Expressway and Hebei Communications Investment, attended the meeting.

Wang Jinxing gives a presentation on "Opportunities and Challenges Facing Robotics + Construction Machinery"

Wang Jinxing first gave a detailed introduction to the development of China's construction machinery industry from aspects such as the scope of the industry and the current development status of construction machinery, and, in conjunction with the state of intelligent manufacturing in construction machinery, introduced the opportunities and challenges currently facing robotics + construction machinery.

Lü Ying gives a presentation on "BICES 2023 Organization and Preparations"

Lü Ying first expressed gratitude to all attending user units for their long-standing support of the Association's industry work and the BICES exhibition work, then introduced the preparations for BICES 2023, and stated that thanks to the strong support of exhibitors, the number of exhibitors and the exhibition area have so far exceeded those of the previous edition; nearly all of the global top 50 construction machinery enterprises are participating, all organized directly by their corporate headquarters; major exhibitors are already making orderly preparations for booth design schemes and exhibit transportation and display plans; hundreds of high-quality conferences and activities during the same period have been finalized, and specific notices will be announced soon; the organization of domestic and international users and professional visitors has been fully launched with remarkable results; and a feature-rich visitor pre-registration system has also gone online. Everyone is welcome to prepare and register in advance.

Dong Dawei spoke on behalf of the organizer of the User Symposium. He expressed gratitude for the Association's trust and support, noting that Bangda Road and Bridge is a subsidiary of Hebei Expressway and the organizing unit of this meeting. He thanked the Association for bringing the latest industry and exhibition information to user units in Hebei Province, and said that Bangda Road and Bridge will join in organizing relevant equipment management personnel from Hebei user units to visit, learn from and exchange views at the BICES 2023 exhibition in Beijing.

During the discussion and exchange session, representatives of the attending user units spoke one after another, saying that through this meeting they had learned about the situation of the BICES 2023 exhibition in Beijing and the latest situation of the construction machinery industry. They thanked the Association and Bangda Road and Bridge for providing the opportunity, and all said that they would systematically organize equipment management and procurement personnel to visit the Beijing exhibition site. The attending representatives also exchanged views on problems existing in the current use of equipment in the transportation system, and expressed the hope of communicating with more manufacturing enterprises at BICES 2023.
