Conference Background

Since the first Cross-Strait Geotechnical Engineering/Geotechnical Technology Exchange Symposium was held in Beijing in 1992, it has been held eleven times successively in Taipei (1993), Xi'an (1994), Shanghai (2002), Taipei (2004), Tianjin (2007), Taichung (2009), Guangzhou (2011), Taipei (2013), Chengdu (2016), and Sun Moon Lake, Nantou (2018). The conference continues to be held alternately between the mainland and Taiwan every two years, and has played a tremendous role in promoting understanding, strengthening friendship, developing technology, and achieving win-win cooperation among the geotechnical engineering/geotechnical technology communities on both sides of the Strait.

As is customary, the mainland volume and Taiwan volume of the proceedings will be officially published before the conference. We are now soliciting papers from colleagues in academia and industry, and welcome your submissions and participation!

Paper Submission Requirements

① Submissions should be specific, clear, and rigorous in content, with clear figures and tables and detailed data. Authors are responsible for the content of their papers, and the papers must not involve confidential information. Articles should generally not exceed 8,000 characters (including figures and tables), and in principle should not exceed 6 pages.
