On August 6, 2013, the China Machinery Industry Federation held a press conference on “the economic performance of the machinery industry in the first half of 2013.” Cai Weici and Yu Qingji, Executive Vice Presidents of the China Machinery Industry Federation; Zhao Xinmin, Director of the Statistics and Information Department of the China Machinery Industry Federation; and Dong Yang, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, attended the press conference.
