Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport began construction in 2015, with a total construction period of four years, and is expected to be completed and accepted in 2019. In addition, the planned Jinan-Qingdao High-Speed Railway will also pass under Jiaodong International Airport and set up an airport station, making the on-site foundation engineering particularly important.
The sand layers and backfill layers in the strata at the construction site are unevenly distributed, and the bedrock at depth is hard, making foundation pit construction difficult.
