At each site, law enforcement officers carefully checked whether each construction site had passed fire safety review and filing; whether fire protection facilities and equipment were provided as required; whether fire truck access roads were unobstructed; whether there was unauthorized and disorderly wiring of electrical lines in migrant worker dormitories; and whether temporary fire water supply systems were installed, among other conditions.
The inspection found that some units had hazards such as temporary fire water supply systems not installed as required, fire truck access roads blocked, and expired fire extinguishers.
In response to these problems, law enforcement officers ordered the responsible units to rectify them on the spot, and for those that could not be rectified on the spot due to actual circumstances, issued a Notice of Rectification within a Time Limit to urge rectification.
During this inspection, 5 construction sites were visited, 18 fire hazards were found, and 14 were ordered to be rectified, eliminating a number of illegal and non-compliant practices and serious fire hazards, and laying a solid foundation for ensuring the stability of the fire safety environment in the jurisdiction this winter and next spring.
