Recently, the "20,000-ton double-girder multi-lifting-point crane" project independently developed and designed by Dalian Heavy Industry · Crane Group won the "15th China Patent Gold Award", making it the only project in Liaoning Province to receive this honor this year. A total of 20 China Patent Gold Awards were selected this year. Winning this award marks that the technological innovation strength and level of Dalian Heavy Industry · Crane Group have received national-level patent recognition.

The "China Patent Award" was established in 1989 and includes the "China Patent Gold Award", "China Patent Excellence Award", "China Design Gold Award" and "China Design Excellence Award". This award is a worldwide patent award recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) of the United Nations, and is also the highest-level government award in China's patent field, representing the highest level of China's independent innovation.

The 20,000-ton crane has a span of 125 meters and a lifting height of 113 meters, with a designed maximum lifting capacity of 20,160 tons, setting new world records for the largest span, maximum lifting height and maximum lifting capacity of a multi-lifting-point bridge crane.
