Chen Yong said that the approach channel bridge has completed the pouring of 12 pile foundations (north bank), and 3 piles have been poured for Pier 2 to Abutment 5; the site is being leveled, construction transformers are being installed, construction roads are being paved, and the rebar yard is being hardened. "We plan to add 4 percussion drilling machines in the coming days to speed up progress and strive to complete the pouring of all pile foundations by the end of October. By the Spring Festival next year, when the earthwork and rockwork of the roadbed is finished and the construction of the bridge's pile caps and substructure is also completed, excavators, transport vehicles and other equipment will all be deployed at once, creating a bustling scene."
